As a life long watcher of all things Academy Awards I expected "Lincoln" to basically make a clean sweep. It did win the Oscar it deserved which was for Daniel Day-Lewis' amazing performance as Abraham Lincoln. Ang Lee won best Director over Mr. Spielberg, a surprise. "Argo" took the top award, another surprise, and Ben Affleck gave an amazingly heartfelt speech.</p> Tue, 26 Feb 2013 01:45:07 +0000 Paul Hunton 19932 at 24 Frames: Oscar Special 24 Frames Reviews: Top Gun IMAX 3D <p></p><div><p>“Top Gun” is making a 5 day tour on IMAX 3D before it is released on blu ray next Tuesday. I didn’t hesitate to go, “Top Gun” has been seen by virtually everyone and 12 year old Paul was a huge fan too! I was 4 when it was released in theaters but I wore out the VHS and the Nintendo game(which was overly difficult). I don’t need to review the film for you, if you haven’t seen it you need too if only for the volleyball scene.
