Brandi Blake

Host, Inside Texas Tech

Brandi joins the KTTZ team after spending more than 10 years producing live newscasts, sporting events, and special features for both television and radio. Her love for media started at a young age while watching Tom Brokaw's live coverage as the Berlin Wall came down in 1989. From then on, she was hooked (and she's still hooked on Brokaw, too!)

Brandi's love for current events eventually segued into the role of news producer for both KJTV-34 and WHAS-11, where she spent years learning the ropes of live television. The one thing that might trump her love of news is her love of sports. Brandi has spent many afternoons on the sideline covering and producing live sporting events for television and radio including Oaks Day and Derby at Churchill Downs, Texas Tech red & black spring games, countless coach's shows, and endless hours of pre game broadcasts. Brandi is also proud of her work launching Lubbock's newest sports station Double T 97.3 and in depth specials including National Signing Day and Bowl Game Broadcasts.

Brandi is excited for the next chapter in her career as she segues from calling the shots to telling the stories. She can't wait to tell the community about all the great things that are happening at 89.1 and Inside Texas Tech. You can contact Brandi via email or give her a call at 806.834.3572 Give her a shout, she would love to hear from you!
