Michelle DIllard

Michelle's primarily responsible for creating the station's broadcast schedule based on viewer feedback and available programs. Michelle screens and evaluates programs to determine the best placement within the broadcast schedule. She oversees the program inventory to ensure we have advance copies of programs we plan to air. During the march 1989 pledge drive, Michelle worked as a KTTZ-TV production volunteer and later filled the part-time board operator position. In 1991, she became the full-time board operator and in 2000 became program manager. She received a BA in Telecommunications in 1990 and a master's in Business Administration in 1994, both from Texas Tech University.

PBS Annual Conference Highlights

The week representatives from public television stations across the country gathered in Denver for PBS' Annual Meeting. I didn't go this year, but through social media, I was able to keep up with the highlights of what will be coming your way during the next year...from the all the excited tweets I followed it looks like its going to be a great year!

The big news is season three of MASTERPIECE'S  Downton Abbey will head across the pond to our shores in January! I know that's a long way off, but it will be worth the wait!

It's been a busy few weeks around the production offices: 24 Frames launched last week,  working Nightly Business Report for a national story to air in the next few weeks, and working on more local programs that are just for the Lubbock and surrounding communities!
