PBS Annual Conference Highlights

The week representatives from public television stations across the country gathered in Denver for PBS' Annual Meeting. I didn't go this year, but through social media, I was able to keep up with the highlights of what will be coming your way during the next year...from the all the excited tweets I followed it looks like its going to be a great year!

The big news is season three of MASTERPIECE'S  Downton Abbey will head across the pond to our shores in January! I know that's a long way off, but it will be worth the wait!

From the producer who brought us CARRIER and CIRCUS comes HALF THE SKY. Based upon the book by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn, this special tells the stories of women and girls from around the world. This four-part series is scheduled for October.

PBS Kids is premiering DANIEL TIGER'S NEIGHBORHOOD this fall. This series come from the Fred Rogers Company. This animated series features the son of the beloved MISTER ROGERS' NEIGHBORHOOD's character Daniel Striped Tiger. This series, aimed at preschoolers, helps little ones get ready for school and life.

Coming in July is an ANTIQUES ROADSHOW spin-off, MARKET WARRIORS. Here's a preview:
