We sat down with a few to find out all about stand up comedy.

Inside Texas Tech: Tsarnaev Puts Capital Punishment in National Spotlight

Update, 3:42 p.m.: A federal jury in Boston unanimously sentenced Dzhokar Tsarnaev to death for his role in the Boston Marathon bombings in 2013. 

Earlier this week, a federal jury in Boston found accused Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokar Tsarnaev guilty on all 30 counts against him. The trial now moves to the sentencing phase, where a jury will decide between life in prison without the possibility of parole, or the death penalty.

Blank on Blank: In honor of B.B. King's life, work and memory

PBS Digital Studios' Blank on Blank recently featured B.B. King.

This episode depicts Mr. King's interview with legendary music executive, Joe Smith, the musician explains how he approaches an audience, how a fire at a juke joint led to his naming his guitar "Lucille", why the blues isn't just being down on your luck, and why compliments don't mean it's time to stop practicing or perfecting your craft.

24 Frames LIVE Art Event June 5th at LHUCA

The next 24 Frames live event is just around the corner.

24 Frames will host an evening with Will Terrell and Drew Merritt at the LHUCA Firehouse Theater during the first Friday art trail on June 5th.

The event starts at 7 P.M.

Inside Texas Tech: University Rallies Around Quake-Stricken Nepal

Nepal is the home to eight of the world's 14 tallest mountains. But beneath the peaks of the Himalayas, a disaster was waiting. 

A devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake destroyed Nepal's capital, Kathmandu, along with many surrounding villages. The death toll, nearly two weeks after the quake, nears 8,000.

The destruction hits close to home for a small community of Texas Tech students who hail from the mountainous country between India and China.
