Michelle Ensminger and Robyn Adams read and discuss Poetry!

Michelle Ensminger loves poetry!  She is the Unit Manager, Center for International and Multicultural Affairs at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

Robyn Adams, a Texas Tech student and Poet.  She says most of her own pieces center on social concerns, and she uses her poetry as a platform to seek change for those issues in the world around her.

Lynne Fallwell Ph.D, Professor in the History department at Texas Tech University. Dr. Lynne Fallwell is a historian of Modern Germany with a focus on the Third Reich/Holocaust and History of Medicine, as well as Comparative Genocide. She discusses her first book, Modern German Midwifery 1885-1960.

Our guest is James Powell.  Mr. Powell was the chaplain at Covenant Children's hospital and has written a book 'The Corner Room', sharing his tales of struggle and success.

'The Corner Room' is titled after the first journal entry Powell ever wrote about a patient; a terminally ill 15 year old named Chase.

Monsignor David Cruz discusses his life in Lubbock and plans for the newest parish in the Diocese of Lubbock “St. John the Baptist” where he will serve as founding pastor.
