On this edition of Inside Texas Tech:

Print media is making its move to the digital world. Texas Tech's completely independent student ran news paper, The Daily Toreador is no different.

Carson Wilson, the papers Editor-in-Chief, tells us how one of Tech's oldest traditions is staying modern.

Then, with our look at KTXT and the importance of student radio, we move to the college of Media and Communications.

Dean Perlmutter sits down with us to discuss the exciting future of media and what it means for the college.

The screening of  KTTZ's documentary "Life. Hope. Courage. Stories of Cancer" premiered last night at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center.  "Life. Hope. Courage" is the story of the people who show courage in their fight, hope in their resiliency, and celebrate life. Texas Tech Public Media is proud to present this film Thursday, March 26 @ 7:30 p.m., and Thursday April 2 @ 7:30 p.m.

We also held a panel and town hall discussion following this special event moderated by Health Sciences Center President Tedd Mitchell, M.D.

On March 24th at The Texas Tech Health Sciences Center room 100 join Texas Tech Public Media for a screening of the new local documentary, "Life. Hope. Courage: The Stories of Cancer". The documentary chronicles the stories of people in the south plains and their battles with cancer. Featuring Ted and Betty Dotts, Dr. Patrick Reynolds, M.D. Ph.D., Randy Christian, Dr. Candy Arentz, M.D., Todd Chambers Ph.D. and many other doctors, survivors, and care givers.

Doors open at 5:30pm and light hors d'oeuvre's will be served.
